Details
This is a "family friendly" tabletop role-playing gaming show using Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition. All artwork must take into account this family-friendly consideration and Twitch's rules (no nudity). The artistic style is up to the artist. Just keep it family friendly, PG rating if you will, figure viewers could be as young as 10-13 years old or so, though the majority will probably be adults and young adults.
If you are not currently available, but would like to be considered for the future, you may request to be listed as a back-up artist on the waiting list, if another scheduled artist has to cancel.
Unless you are in the Spokane area, most artists will join remotely using either Google Hangout or Jitsi, and then share your desktop, specifically your drawing app, or your webcam if using physical artwork medium rather than digital.
If you use physical art medium like paper and canvas, as long as you used a good high-quality (1080p) webcam, and have it mounted in the right position, with the right lighting, you could point your external webcam at your art surface, and we could integrate that into the show broadcast. We then receive your video, and integrate it through Open Broadcast Server, which then the audience sees overlaid, on the video stream.
We have some reference artwork, and will have more over time as the shows progress.
We welcome a wide variety of styles, we prefer not to have all the same style, so the reference artwork does not need to be copied exactly, just in the ball park, and you are welcomed, indeed encouraged, to draw in your preferred style regardless of the reference artwork style.
We will need you to participate in at least one test session to make sure you are setup correctly before you can participate in a live stream.
Most artwork will have to be created on the fly.
You may sometimesl be able to prepare a little bit, but that will be the exception rather than the rule.
There are key scenes along the way though, even many episodes later, that they will sooner or later come to, that you could prepare some of those background in advance. It is just what they will do when they arrive at the scene that is completely unpredictable.
Typically during scenes that are changing quickly, just sketches are fine. you do not have to worry about complete work with every scene, just as much as time allows as the scenes change.
When a scene is lasting longer, more completed drawings, color, etc, as time permits during the show are fine.
