While most of our other positions can be trained remotely around the world, this position required that you can be in-person at our various Washington & Idaho events. Most events currently take place around the Spokane, WA, and Post Falls, ID areas, though other locations may happen throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Location(s): Varies: offices, schools, conventions, community centers, mobile facilities, and others, Spokane, WA, Post Falls, ID.
Reports to: Senior Facilitator.
Key Tasks, Responsibilities, & Requirements
- Encourage, plan, schedule, and facilitate events and activities.
- Help facilitate 4 sessions per month (2-4 hours per session). Availability for facilitating group session per week, usually either on Fridays or Saturdays.
- Coordinate participant placement in rooms or at tables.
- Set up and tear-down of activity components (drums, dice, pencils, miniatures, tables, chairs, rulebooks, computer-systems, boffer weapons, costumes, etc.)
- Report back to Senior Facilitator.
- Assist Game Masters and other Facilitators during events as needed, to optimize participants experience.
- Coordinate with Player Archetype Specialists, RPG Advocates, and others.
- Attend either in-person or via remote access, at least one training session / administrative meeting per week (3 hours per session)
- Strongly self-motivated
- Strong collaborative work ethic
- Some light to moderate lifting (up to 25 pounds).
- Reliable schedule compliance.
Education and Training
Required:
- Minimum 1+ years training or experience organizing and running recreational events.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to help others move tables, chairs, and books (25 pounds)
- Passionate supportive energy
- Can-do attitude, go-getter looking for things to do to help, rather than just waiting around to be told what to do.
Optional but preferred:
- Recreation /Event management training/certification.
- 1+ years training or personal experience with at least one related RPG format(s). *
* Formats include: tabletop (RPG), live-action (LARP), electronic (eRPG), and solo adventure books and modules (SABM).

- Strong skills arranging and running recreational events.
- Contacting facilities and vendors to arrange facility access and resources.
